Last week my friends at the McDonald Observatory in the Davis Mountains were thrilling us with pictures and accounts of an amazing planetary lineup in the nighttime sky over West Texas. It was quite the site for those who saw it. It was truly an interstellar sight to behold.
I think Texans like it when things line up. You know things like when you buzz through Houston traffic with no red lights downtown.
