AMARILLO, Texas — Officers from the Amarillo Police Department’s Traffic Investigation Squad conducted a compliance operation on February 6, 2025, targeting the sale of alcohol to minors. Four out of 14 establishments contacted sold alcohol to underage patrons, according to a press release from the department.Yin Than, a 53-year-old male, was booked into the Potter County Sheriff’s Office jail for selling alcohol to a minor from a convenience store in the 1300 block of N Hughes.
