AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Happy Saturday! Thanks to a cold front earlier in the day today, we will trend toward much colder weather for this upcoming week. Highs tomorrow and Monday will stay steady in the 40’s for most of the region. We’re watching a couple of chances for some light wintry precipitation during the first half of this week, although no major impacts are expected. The first batch will arrive in very isolated coverage Monday. The second round of wintry precip will be overnight Tuesday night. Whereas Monday shouldn’t be too impacted by wintry weather. a more widespread round of snow/sleet/freezing rain/rain will be possible Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
