NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – This week is looking cooler and wetter. Another cold front tonight will bring in cooler temperatures on Monday. Temperatures will continue to get cooler every day through the middle of next week.

Wednesday will be the coolest day with some parts of New Mexico falling below average. Rain and mountain snow will return to northern New Mexico as early as Monday. A backdoor cold front will bring a mix of rain and snow into northeast New Mexico on Tuesday and Wednesday, while the rest of the northern half of the state will see isolated rain showers and mountain snow.
