Amarillo’s Animal control service warns residents of missing pet scam

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The City of Amarillo’s Animal Management and Welfare Department notifies residents who are missing pets of a missing pet scam.

According to AAMW, scammers are using info from social media posts on missing pets to contact pet owners.
