School, business closings and delays due extreme cold temperatures

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Incoming extremely cold temperatures have caused some school and business closures and delays.

Businesses:

Graveyard shifts on Monday are canceled for all nonessential personnel.
Day shift operations on Tuesday are delayed three hours from normal shift start time, with no earlier arrivals than 9 a.m. unless instructed otherwise.
All nonessential personnel who do not directly support onsite work and are able to telework should do so Tuesday.
