LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Some workers at the Veterans Affairs Care System that oversees the clinic in Lubbock and others across the region are now without a job.
The Veterans Affairs Department has dismissed what it considers a “small number” of probationary staff across the Amarillo Health Care System, which operates clinics in Childress, Clovis, Dalhart and Lubbock.
The department would not specify whether this includes anyone in Lubbock. It also did not provide information on how many people were let go…
