I despise anyone who uses our Texas roads like an ashtray. When I see someone flick a cigarette butt out of their window, I get so angry and I wanna flick ’em right in their nose.
And just to be clear, amigos, the still-smoldering vessel of your dwindling cigarette is not the one thing you can legally throw out of your window in Texas.

For the record, the following items are always considered littering: Cigarette butts, gum and gum wrappers, apple cores, banana peels, and other fruit – despite being compostable.
One of my daughters likes to eat strawberries on the way to school and if she comes across a sour one, I roll the window down and tell her to “let it fly!” Turns out that’s not legal, but I ain’t no snitch… But we’ll stop doing it immediately…
