NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – It is another cool to cold start across the state this morning with the majority of the state feeling temperatures near to below freezing. Luckily temperatures will warm quickly into the day with plenty of sunshine.

Highs could climb as much as 20° over Saturday with even warmer weather moving in. It will be sunny and breezy across New Mexico today as well. This warming trend will continue into early next week with record and near-record high temperatures possible in parts of the state Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
