An Amarillo Police Officer was dispatched Monday at 7:37am to the 1000 block of north Manhattan on a 911 hang up Officers arrested 52 year-old Ernesto Mendoza Gonzalez on alleged charges of unlawful carrying of a weapon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of stolen property.
Amarillo Police were dispatched to the 9900 block of I-40 east in refernce to a stolen firearm. The compliaintant reported the theft of a a taurus circut judge 45 long colt. A Police Officer was dispatched to 1700 block of southeast 34th on auto burg/criminal mischief. Officers found that a 2021 KIA K-5 was broken into and items were taken including 2 backpacks,a computer and games, iPad, a small purse and two yellow gold men’s rings.
