AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Amarillo Housing First, home of the Code Blue Warming Station, has been temporarily closed due to an occupancy certification violation.
The Code Blue Warming Station opened its doors in December 2019 as a safe space for those who need a warm place to stay during cold weather. On Tuesday, a City Marshal gave a letter to the tenant of the nonprofit to immediately cease operations.
