Dairy Queen fans in Texas are facing a bittersweet farewell as 12 locations closed their doors yesterday, marking the second wave of closures this year. Six stores in Hemphill, Jasper, Kountze, Huntington, Lufkin, and Longview Eastman shut down permanently, while six other locations across the state followed suit. These closures come after 25 Dairy Queen outlets were closed in February, all under the same franchisee, Lone Star DQ.
