AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Drivers in the Amarillo area may be accustomed to traffic on the city’s major thoroughfares of I-40 and I-27, as well as sharing the road with motorcyclists amid the warming weather.
However, recent drivers on I-40 in Amarillo were startled to see another addition to the throng of motorists: A man in shorts, sneakers and a t-shirt traveling on a scooter in the center lane.

The viewer submitted a video to MyHighPlains.com showing the scooter driver traveling westbound on I-40, past the Washington Street and Bell Street exits, while traveling at speeds around 60-65 miles per hour…
