AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Happy Sunday! Thanks to a cold front moving through early this morning, we’ll set up for a cooler and calmer stretch of weather for the time being.
Sunday/Monday: Both today and tomorrow will feature relatively calm winds at about 10-15 mph with highs staying steady close to normal, topping out in the mid to upper 60’s. Lows tonight will be quite chilly, dipping into the 30’s for most, and near freezing for some.
Tuesday: This will be the ugliest day of the week, as winds will kick up out of the southwest sustained at about 25-35 mph, gusting close to 55-60 mph at times. This will once bring in the threat of blowing dust and critical fire danger to the region…
