Amarillo, Texas — Recently, a video went viral on social media showing a man driving down what seemed like a very busy freeway on a motorized scooter.
The video shows the man in a daring attempt to drive a motorized electric scooter on a Texas freeway. What makes this video even more shocking is the fact that the man is wearing nothing but a t-shirt and shorts. He was visibly not wearing any protective gear such as a helmet, knee pads, or shin pads. He was not even wearing jeans, which could have prevented a nasty case of road rash in case things had gone badly.
The man’s actions violated multiple Texas road laws, and it is highly likely he would have been arrested if law enforcement had caught up with him.
