Amarillo man sentenced to 14 years in prison on drug charges

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — An Amarillo man was sentenced to more than 14 years in prison for selling fentanyl, according to court filings.

Whitney Walker was convicted of “Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.”

According to court documents filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Texas in July last year, Amarillo Police surveilled Walker and stopped his vehicle for a traffic violation. Walker was arrested on the traffic violation.
