One of the best things to hit Amarillo each year is the Hoodoo Mural Festival, and this year, it’s about to be bigger.
The biggest issue with how it’s done now is fencing. Because it’s an outdoor event, there is a lot of setup involved that takes more than one day to set up, not to mention manpower and funding.

It’s a giant party. Artists from all over the Texas Panhandle roll into Amarillo to paint beautiful murals throughout the event, not to mention tons of live music and DJ sets.
24 murals were completed last year alone, and they graced Amarillo throughout the year. This year will be different, however.
