AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Cheers echoed through the halls of Palo Duro High School on Thursday afternoon as a group of dedicated cheerleaders officially signed their letters of intent to cheer at the college level, marking a major achievement for the school’s celebrated spirit program.
Family, friends, coaches, and fellow students gathered to celebrate the student-athletes during a signing ceremony held on campus. The event highlighted the commitment, discipline, and leadership that have defined these cheerleaders’ high school careers.
Among those recognized:
- Alonzo Hernandez signed with Midwestern State University.
- Nayline Inthirath signed to Midwestern State University, joining Hernandez.
- Ethan Flores received multiple offers before officially signing to Trinity Valley Community College.
- Angel Arenivas also received multiple offers before signing to Trinity Valley Community College.
This year’s college signings mark a growing tradition of success for the Palo Duro cheer program, known for its athleticism, school spirit, and leadership development.
