AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Community members were invited to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony for the new Panhandle Cancer Care Center, set to be held on Wednesday evening on the corner of Wallace Boulevard and Point West Parkway.
The Panhandle Cancer Care Center was described on its website as the only locally-owned and operated radiation therapy facility in Amarillo, offering patients radiation oncology services and radiation simulation treatment planning.
Oklahoma Senate passes hospital price transparency bill
Officials noted the groundbreaking ceremony will be held at 5 p.m. at 1655 Point West Pkwy, near the Coffee Memorial Blood Center and Panhandle Obstetrics and Gynecology.
