AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Two Amarillo area organizations are partnering to host a free dementia symposium in June.
The Area Agency on Aging of the Panhandle and Mary E. Bivins Foundation will host the free symposium June 12 for both family and professional caregivers.
Event organizers say the symposium will feature several experts, including:
- Hollie Glover-Lowe, James L. West Center for Dementia Care
- Dr. Gayle Ayers
- Dr. Jonathan Singer
- Veronica Molinar-Lopez, Texas Tech University Garrison Institute on Aging
