Texas Panhandle Weather Alert: Severe Thunderstorms Possible Monday Afternoon to Evening

Amarillo, Texas – Severe thunderstorms are possible across much of the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles on Monday afternoon into evening. While the risk remains low, the National Weather Service has issued a Level 1 severe storm warning, citing potential hazards including large hail (up to golf ball size) and wind gusts reaching 65 mph. Tornado activity remains a possibility.
