AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Local and state officials are asking residents and business owners in Potter and Randall counties to report any damage sustained during recent severe weather events by filling out the Texas Division of Emergency Management’s (TDEM) iSTAT Damage Survey.
According to the Amarillo Area Office of Emergency Management, the online survey is designed to help emergency management agencies assess the extent of the damage across affected areas and better understand the needs of the community as recovery efforts begin.
“This is a critical first step in the recovery process,” local officials said in a release. “By submitting a damage report, residents can help inform decisions about debris removal, infrastructure repairs, and potential state or federal assistance.”…
