As fast as Amarillo gets a new place, it can shut down without anyone noticing. Then people will start asking what happened. We then have to do some searching to see if they really are closed.
Where It Was Located & What It Offered
That is exactly what happened to the Amarillo restaurant Spice & Saga. It moved in right across from Hodgetown. It took the place when Joe Taco closed their downtown location.
Here we are with another closed restaurant. That was the speculation. I saw someone asking about it on social media, so I decided to drive by.

Most signage was gone, the restaurant was empty, and its Google listing said ‘Permanently Closed.’ Yep, it looks like another one bites the dust.

What happened? They had some decent reviews. They also had a buffet, and it seems that is a winning combination for an Indian restaurant. That way, you can try everything and figure out what you really like.
