Hearing sirens in Amarillo is nothing out of the ordinary. In fact, there is constantly a firetruck or ambulance coming down my street at least every couple of weeks.
Saturday afternoon, my daughter and I were outside when we heard some sirens go racing by. She pointed them out, and I thought nothing of it. I acknowledged she heard sirens, and we went back inside.
It wasn’t until I hopped on Facebook that I saw what those sirens were for, and it wasn’t a pretty sight. In fact, I had to run to the store, which meant I had to drive right past it.
