Amarillo Fire sends personnel, fire engine to South Texas via TIFMAS aiding recovery efforts

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Fire Department has announced that it will assist with recovery efforts in South Texas, where areas across the region have been impacted by flooding.

According to AFD, its department will deploy Engine 42 as well as personnel through the Texas Intrastate Fire Mutual Aid System to Kerrville to assist with ongoing response and recovery efforts.
