Our current weather pattern favors normal July temperatures along with some encouraging rain chances. We enjoyed a morning round of rain today before clearing and warming to the 90 degree mark. We will be monitoring the area to our west late today as afternoon storms develop near the Rockies and move toward our area. The steering flow will be favorable for the next few evenings to bring some evening and night time storms to the area from New Mexico. Our western counties are favored for activity tonight, but a scattered storm is certainly possible in central sections including Amarillo.
