AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Hood Eats, one of Amarillo’s popular food trucks that dishes out bold, street-style fusion food, now offers a dine-in option at Revolve Lounge, located at 3703 Wolflin Ave.
Known for its graffiti-style art, good music and even better food, MyHighPlains.com stopped by to experience what’s behind the buzz.

MyHighPlains.com’s order:
- The Bulgogi Bowl: Korean-marinated beef served over steamed rice, topped with a fried egg, fresh cucumber, green onions, and a generous drizzle of spicy mayo.
- Chicken Katsu Famous Bowl: Crispy fried chicken with steamed rice, a Hawaiian roll, creamy mac, and tangy katsu sauce. A side of kimchi (a first for MyHighPlains.com’s Victoria Reyes) was the perfect add-on—more flavorful than spicy, and definitely worth trying if you’ve been hesitant.
- Bao Buns: Stuffed with bulgogi beef, spicy mayo and cucumber. They are soft, warm, and packed with flavor.
The atmosphere at Hood Eats is just as memorable as the food, with a laid-back ambiance, bright colors, and plenty of personality. It’s the kind of restaurant that feels local in the best way possible: casual, creative and community-driven.
