Longtime Amarillo Vet Dr. Wolf Retires—Join the Celebration

This is for all the pet owners here in Amarillo. Which I feel includes just about every family around town. Your home may have been overrun by kids and four-legged friends. Having a pet is a big part of many homes.

Being a pet owner means you have also had to have a veterinarian, or a vet for short. You have to have someone you trust to bring your furry friend. Someone to keep them up-to-date on shots. Someone to bring them to when something seems up.

Dr. Wolf’s Journey at Canyon Road

You want to find someone who loves your furry member of your family as much as you do, for our family, that was always Dr. Wolf at Canyon Road Animal Hospital. Dr. Wolf has welcomed each and every animal that we have loved that has walked through her doors. Every time we brought in a member of our family, we saw Dr. Wolf.

Furry Friendships and Family Moments

Dr. Wolf was there to welcome our new dogs and cats, and she was there to comfort us when we had to say goodbye to one of them. Dr. Wolf has always been a constant at Canyon Road Animal Hospital.

Even a few weeks ago, when I dropped off a DoorDash order to an employee working the front door, I was pleasantly surprised. As I walked in the front door to drop off the order, Dr. Wolf was greeting another furry friend. She always has been a fixture.

What’s Next for Amarillo’s Pets

Though not unexpected, Dr. Wolf’s retirement is a sad day for families throughout Amarillo. After 53 years, Dr. Wolf is retiring. She has had a great run and has helped countless families and their favorite pets…
