AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Trees in downtown Amarillo are reportedly being removed raising concerns for the company who planted a lot of them.
Richard Ware, with Amarillo National Bank, said the trees were part of the original downtown plan. ANB said the city has already pulled at least five trees as they build on the parking lot at the Amarillo Municipal Court.

ANB’s marketing director said the Wares and Amarillo National Bank has planted 500 trees in downtown Amarillo over the years.
