A Potter County Sheriff’s Office employee will deploy later this week to support emergency dispatch operations in Kerrville, as part of a coordinated response to widespread flooding in Central Texas.
According to a news release from Potter County Sheriff Brian Thomas, the Telecommunicator Emergency Response Taskforce (TERT) received an email notification on July 7 seeking four trained personnel willing to assist in Kerrville for a 14-day deployment beginning Thursday afternoon, July 10. Housing will be provided, and expenses reimbursed.
