Amarillo Mayor Cole Stanley is squashing rumors that the zoo is for sale.
ABC 7 News has been contacted by numerous people who believe the city was trying to sell the zoo and doing so in secret.
Late Thursday night, Stanley told us there is “no discussion to sell the zoo. It’s public land and cannot be sold. Voters would have to call an election and vote it through.”…
