Just a couple of days ago, we heard that the Amarillo Zoo may potentially be up for sale. However, there are some major complications that come with something like that, and it fired up the community.

It apparently leaked from a closed door executive session that happened, and Councilman Les Simpson was less than pleased about the development.
He said that there were only preliminary conversations, zero decisions, and mentioned how any kind of proposal would go through a public process that was transparent.
