Amarillo Police Activity For Monday

Amarillo Police Officers were dispatched Monday to Damron’s Pawn in the 2600 block of Paramount in reference to the theft of a Radical AR style pistol and a Palmetto PA-15 pistol. APD was dispatched to the 5900 block of Ray on the theft of a Smith & Wesson semi-automatic pistol. A Police Officer was dispatched to 1600 block of South Arthur on the theft of a washer, dryer, copper and drywall. A Police Officer was dispatched to 3600 block of South Taylor on the theft of a lawnmower. Officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of South Philadelphia on the theft of a pistol and multiple necklaces. A report was made in the 1300 block of Herman where the victim reported the theft of a red and black 70cc pit bike. APD responded to a burglary in the 9900 block of Will Avenue where the victim reported the theft of a leather wallet, a driver’s license, safety card, OSHA card, a bank debit card and some cash. The victim also reported unauthorized use of the stolen debit card.

A Police Officer was dispatched to the 2700 block of Civic Circle and the 800 block of South Georgia on hit and runs. APD officers were dispatched Monday at 6:30pm to the area of Southwest 26th and South Buchanan on a hit-and-run where they arrested 59-year-old Saul Fernandez Escarega for driving while intoxicated. Amarillo Police made a traffic stop Monday night at 9:16 in the 1600 block of South Grand where they arrested 17-year-old Emilio Casanova, 17-year-old Zavein Jamie Moreno, Judie Marie Martinez, age 34 and 48-year-old Gregorio Martinez on charges ranging from a warrant for probation violation, outstanding traffic warrants, outstanding municipal warrants, minor in possession of alcohol, furnishing alcohol to a minor and unlawful carrying of a weapon…
