A day late and a dollar short, that seems to be the saying for today. You take a few days off for a family vacation, and the news you’ve been waiting for drops the day after you leave Amarillo. That’s right, as an avid Long John Silver’s fan and one who has been following the new opening since the beginning, I missed the announcement of the Amarillo store’s opening day.
Hopefully, this news is new to you, as it was to me. I unplugged from work for a good 7 days to relax and enjoy time with my family. As I arrived back at work, there it was staring me in the face.
When Is Long John Silver’s Opening in Amarillo?
Long John Silver’s is set to open the new restaurant in Amarillo on August 1st. That is according to our friends at KAMR. However, according to the email I received, two hours after I logged off work to start my vacation last week, from our friends at Long John Silver’s:
We are extremely excited for the opening of our Amarillo location and grateful for the anticipation and support from the community. As of today, we’re working on wrapping up the landscaping and finalizing several interior features of the restaurant. As long as progress remains on schedule, we will be ready to open our doors at the end of the month…
