Good Saturday morning, everyone!
We are waking up to a partly cloudy sky with humid conditions. Low temperatures are starting out in the 60’s and low 70’s. As today unfolds, a mostly sunny sky is expected with southerly winds of 5 to 15 mph. Temperatures will respond, heating up into the sultry 90’s and low 100’s this afternoon. Amarillo should top out close to 95. Also, there will be a slight chance of a thunderstorm or two this evening. In fact, low end chances for rogue storms will be possible daily throughout all this next week. The probability of rain will stay less than 20 percent.
Regarding afternoon temperatures from tomorrow through Friday, the weather will be summerlike with highs in the 90’s to near 100 each day…
