AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — West Texas Fresh is introducing a new concept in fast food, offering healthier and fresher ingredients while maintaining fast service.
The concept started back about four years ago with Connor O’Rourke and Alex Cunningham wanting to bring something different to Amarillo. O’Rourke developed the menu and concept in 2022, and Cunningham joined the project in 2024 to help launch the first location.

The restaurant opened in August 2024 and serves salads, wraps and breakfast.
“We’re salads and wraps, like that’s what we do. But we use the fresh ingredients and everything is made to order, so where some places might have, like your pre-packaged salads or pre-cooked proteins. We do everything in-house. Everything is made to order each time,” Cunningham said…
