AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Sweat equity hours and sweat equity passion are needed for a massive community cleanup on the north side of Amarillo on Saturday.
Focus areas are along River Road, where organizers from the community have put together a cleanup day. It will start around 8 a.m. with a sign-up and go into the afternoon.
“We have a lot of elderly folks out here that can’t do what they used to do, so you know we would like for their grandsons or granddaughters, anybody that’s got the will, the manpower, the muscles to come help us cleanup,” said Hope McCoy, Pleasant Valley/River Road board member…
