Portales Municipal School District announces update regarding vaccinations

PORTALES, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) — On Friday, officials with Portales Municipal School District announced on social media that Portales Municipal Schools is no longer a Vaccines for Children program provider.

Officials have announced that students will not have access to required vaccinations at school, stating, “To ensure your child is up-to-date on all necessary immunizations, please schedule an appointment with your family’s healthcare provider. They will be able to administer all required vaccines.”

For questions or more information, officials asked parents and guardians to contact their child’s school directly.
