Heart of the High Plains: Gracie’s Project

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Gracie’s Project is a local nonprofit that began when a dog named Gracie was found. Gracie was a mom who was malnourished and facing euthanasia; she passed, but the nonprofit is living on and continuing its mission.

“We help animals here in the Panhandle. Gracie’s Project is a no-kill shelter, and they are currently taking care of over 200 dogs.
