AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Fire Department reports that crews responded to a structure fire that occurred early Saturday morning in the 4700 block of Eagle Lane.
According to AFD, the first alarm sounded at 6:01 a.m., and crews were dispatched a minute later, arriving at the home at 6:06 a.m. Upon arrival, officials said crews were met with heavy flames coming from the front of the house. AFD detailed that the fire was defensive from the start.
