It’s not unusual for restaurants to close in Amarillo. Unfortunately, they seem to come and go. We have had a few that have closed but decided to merge with another restaurant. Those seem easier to take.
Mergers Are Nothing New in Amarillo Dining
We end up losing a place to eat in our favorite location, but they are still here, just maybe a little bit further down the road. That happened when The Lost Cajun moved into the same building as The Pancake Station. Unfortunately, that didn’t last.
The Pancake Station is still here, but they said goodbye to The Lost Cajun. In its original location on I-40, The Lost Cajun became home to two other merged restaurants. Saigon and Pho 84 merged to become Saigon 84 and took over The Lost Cajun’s first location. I know this is a lot to keep up with.
