Music is a family affair for the Farren family. Four of them teach choir in the Canyon Independent School District.
“As for our choir director family, I consider it such a gift,” Canyon Junior High School choir director Heather Farren said. “Choir has been an integral part of who we are as individuals, married couples and family. I met Brandon through music at West Texas A&M University. Our son, Christian, went the Canyon choir program together with his wife, Morgan (Finke) Farren. I remember when they sang in the sixth grade Honors Choir together. They were romantic leads in the Canyon High School musical ‘White Christmas’ and became a couple after an area audition. The rest is history.
“We serve together in life, school and ministry. We do not take for granted our shared vision and understanding of what choir means to us and those we serve.”…
