Amarillo Police Department investigates after man stabbed in 6th Street parking lot

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Amarillo Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is investigating after one person was hospitalized after allegedly being stabbed in a parking lot on 6th Street.

According to the police department, officers responded to a business parking lot in the 2600 block of 6th Street at around 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday after a report of a stabbing. The wounded person at the scene told officers he was in the parking lot when another man allegedly walked up and attempted to stab him multiple times.

The man told officers he was allegedly stabbed once before he was able to get away, and the alleged attacker left westbound on a bicycle…
