Alzheimer’s Association West Texas Chapter to host free luncheon on Aug. 26

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Amarillo residents are invited to the West Texas Community Outreach Luncheon by the Alzheimer’s Association West Texas Chapter, aiming to bring awareness and provide education about Alzheimer’s disease.

The event is scheduled to begin at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Pure Heals Adult Medical Complex located in west Amarillo.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association West Texas Chapter, the informative event will be led by Shelly Gilbreth, Community Educator and dedicated volunteer with the Alzheimer’s Association, who will focus on Alzheimer’s Awareness and the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s disease.
