AUSTIN, Texas (KFDA) – North Plains Electrical Cooperative, which covers parts of seven counties in the Panhandle, was recently approved for funding on two projects by the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT).
The majority of the funding, $20,430,000, will go toward a new transmission loop to ensure more reliable service for customers.
