Free Kids Workshop at Amarillo Home Depot Sept. 6

We have two Home Depots in Amarillo, and if you haven’t been taking your kids to their monthly workshops, you are missing out. The first Saturday of every month, they have a project for the family to work on.

Details on Amarillo’s September 6 Event

They happen the first Saturday of every month, and the next one is happening on September 6, where you will work on a fun crop-duster airplane. These events will be happening at both Home Depot locations in Amarillo.

Potter County Sheriff Adds a Safety Feature

This next month, though, the Soncy Home Depot location, 2500 Soncy Rd, is adding a little bit more. They are making it even more special by bringing the Potter County Sheriff’s Office to take part in the fun:

The Home Depot at 2500 Soncy Rd is offering a Law Enforcement Kids Workshop on Saturday, September 6th from 9-12. Sgt McKinney will be on site as well providing ID cards for children under the age of 18 (unless you have a valid DL/ID). Below is the flier to get your child registered IF you’re planning on staying for the Home Depot event. However, you DO NOT need to register if you’re just coming for an ID card. We would love to have you!
