AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — An event that launched in 2024, billed as War of the Wagons and drew around 1,000 people, is coming back to Amarillo at the Texas Panhandle War Memorial on Friday, Sept. 5, starting at 6 p.m.
“The food trucks, they’ll be parked out here, we have 12 of them scheduled to be here,” said Tim Reid, executive director Texas Panhandle War Memorial. “There will be a specialty plate, first bites and dessert. They’ll compete in each of those categories and will see who is crowned Warrior of the Year.”
