Nothing is more entertaining than reading the arrest logs in Amarillo. Look, I’ve lived in some big cities, but I swear I have seen the strangest arrests here.
The saying is “Keep Austin Weird”, but I swear it’s more applicable to Amarillo at times. One of the more recent arrests doesn’t push me off that theory.

Where Did This Arrest Happen
This one happened to be at an apartment complex, and one of the nicer ones in the area at that. Located off of Coulter, right across from Preston West Golf Course, are the Salt Fork Apartments.
A relatively new build place, it’s nestled away just enough from where the construction and building end, so it can be relatively quiet, especially when the golf course isn’t open. When the course IS open, it provides some nice views.
