Caprock High School FFA Students Suffer Tragic Loss of Animals

One thing about the Amarillo area and the Texas Panhandle is that we are in a very agricultural world. Many students in the area participate in agricultural clubs such as 4-H and the Future Farmers of America, known as the FFA.

Why Raising Show Animals Matters for Students

While in these clubs, these kids spend countless hours and money raising animals for stock shows.  The better the animal, the more money it brings at auction, and this money goes to the child’s future education or animals for future stock shows.

Blood, sweat, and tears go into raising these animals, and when something happens to these animals, it is devastating.

Sadly, many students at Caprock High School are mourning and feeling the devastation of the loss of some of these animals.
