BORGER, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – Borger Independent School District Superintendent Daniel Fuller issued a statement Thursday to emphasize “no direct threat” to its community or schools was made, though law enforcement presence has been increased at campuses, after a recent social media post began circulating through the region.
Fuller said a Snapchat post recently circulated “around the greater Amarillo area,” referencing “potential safety concerns at school with a picture of a gun.”

After working with local law enforcement agencies in partnership with the Amarillo Police Department, Fuller said “the individual responsible for the message has been identified as a repeat offender of behavior such as this and is being held accountable in accordance with law.”
